Exclusions
Our services do not include legal, financial, or pest/structural inspections. Any site visits included in services are solely for informing architectural design.
Obligation-Free Starter Services
Booking an Obligation-Free Starter Service—such as our Home Masterplan Report—constitutes entering into a Client Architect Agreement for a Feasibility Study. By booking this service, you agree to the terms outlined in this document and those in the Client Architect Agreement.
These services are considered mobilisation services, designed to initiate the architectural process, and are treated as such under our agreement structure.
Mobilisation Fee, Cooling-Off and Refund Policy
All fees for services booked through the website are payable in advance.
The Home Masterplan Report and other feasibility studies are mobilisation fees. These cover immediate commencement of services, resource allocation, and intellectual property provision.
Clients may cancel an online booking within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund.
After 48 hours, work may have commenced and refunds will only be provided to the extent required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). In cases of major failure, Whisker Architecture will comply with all ACL obligations.
Additional Fees
Travel allowance: Projects located more than 2 hours’ travel from Whisker Architecture’s head office in Hume City Council may incur additional travel fees at $250/hr incl GST. Most of Greater Melbourne, Greater Geelong, Moorabool Shire, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell Shire, Murrindindi Shire, and Queenscliffe Borough are not affected.
Site measure allowance: For alterations and additions, if no existing floor plan is available from the client or real estate sources, a site measure may be required. This will be charged at $180/hr incl GST plus travel time (typically around $1,500 in total). Clients will be advised before this fee is incurred.

Upon booking any service, including online services, the Client agrees to the terms outlined in the Client Architect Agreement. This agreement outlines:
The scope of services
Fee structure (percentage, lump sum, or hourly)
