Behind a traditional Victorian facade, Canvas House creates a new living environment shaped around art, changing family life and the desire to remain in the home for decades. Sculptural forms, warm timber and concrete-like textures give the new work its own identity while respecting the original house.

Integrated storage, a domestic gallery, curved joinery and a circular skylight make better use of the existing home rather than simply making it larger. The result is expressive but practical, with space to create, display, gather and adapt as family life changes. Canvas House - N

Durable finishes, generous circulation and carefully considered details respond to life with large dogs as well as people. Tiled high-traffic areas, a carpeted stair runner for grip and comfort, and selected lowered windows make the architecture work harder for every member of the household.

This renovation transforms an existing Hawthorn home into a warmer, more expressive place to live. Rather than relying on one restrained palette, colour, timber and carefully detailed joinery give each space its own identity while keeping the home cohesive.

A reworked kitchen, living areas, bathrooms and bedrooms combine practical storage with moments of personality, from soft mint and coral tones to warm Blackbutt timber. The result is a highly functional family home that feels distinctly its own.
